My PC is losing things.
Running Win XP Pro SP3, which MS tells me is a pirate copy. IE-6.0 updated SP3
Ever since I D/L SP3 a few months ago I have been losing access to thing. First was system restore, than my help & support, than my updates, now I can’t get into my divice manager/hardware profiles.
I have been into my Start-Admin tools-services.
I have had to turn them on and started them over a dozen time. But they will not stay on.
I can’t get into my properties. Right click on my computer, click on properties and it will flash/pop-up and gone.
Any thing to do with system restore will not work. Had an email from TechRepublic something about system restore and could not even open it.
Every time I click on the email I was booted off line. (Verizon FIOS. Check for viruse and what have you. Nothing.
Can anyone please help me before I take this PC out for some target shooting.
