    smartphone for gaming

    Hi

My OnePlus 6 is dying so I need a new one and I want my new phone to run games like Wild Rift or Genshin Impact smoothly. But, while searching for gaming smartphones on YouTube and google I noticed that most gaming phones have “gamer” aesthetics and I don’t like it, I prefer sober designs.

The Black Shark 4Pro, seemed a bit more sober than the other phones and affordable, how does it looks in person? Please give me any recommendations for a new smartphone.

My maximum budget is around 800 euros.

Since you are wanting to use a smartphone for gaming, the most important factor is that it needs to be compatible with your cellular carrier. Make certain it has the required frequencies/networks where you live and use the device.

I suggest that you consider a tablet instead with either Wi-Fi or and/or a cellular connection. Best of luck.

For example, here in the US I use a Samsung Tab S7 + tablet on Wi-Fi only. The gaming experience is a lot easier with an almost 12-inch display vs. a phone with approximately a 6-inch display. I also use a Samsung S21 5G phone which is a very capable gaming phone with a very nice display.

Yes, you can choose it if it looks sober to you.

In 2021, to afford the best smartphone available, you have to pay more than 1,000 euros. This sizeable budget is not within everyone’s reach. Some competitors (including Chinese manufacturers) have understood this and have long offered their best smartphone at less than 800 euros. And it works here I found some smartphones under 800 euros: Google Pixel 4a, Oppo Reno4 Z, Samsung Galaxy A90, Oppo Find X2 Lite, Huawei P30 Pro, Oppo Find X2 Neo, Samsung Galaxy S10, OnePlus 8, Apple iPhone SE, Google Pixel 4

With Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, 16 GB RAM and up to 512 GB ROM, it is the by far the best cell phone I’ve played on.

I’ve never used a smartphone for gaming, so I don’t know much about it, but I would recommend choosing a smartphone with a bigger screen if possible.

There’s gong to be very little difference in gaming performance, but ROG 5 is a better phone – Red Magic 6 is a spec beast for sure, but not as good at being a phone. Black Shark 4 is going to be the same, stick with the ROG 5 if it’s in budget.

I used to have the Razer Phone 1. Although there was the issue that Razer basically shut down their phone business after the Razer Phone 2, the software side was not that different from other Android phones.

Basically don’t expect more than 1 OS version upgrade and 2 years worth of security upgrades. This is not a pure gaming phone thing and more of an Android problem, as even Samsung has a bit of a hit or miss approach to updates.

However, one of the best things about a gaming phone is that they always have flagship specs and build quality, and they have proper speaker placement (Left and Right when held in landscape mode, and both facing towards you).

The first is the ROG Phone 6 Pro, which is the more powerful of the two. It has everything a gamer needs, including a large 6.78-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate, a massive 6,000mAh battery with 65W charging, and great performance thanks to Snapdragon’s latest chipset paired with 18GB of RAM.
Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max. All prices Full specs
So, the Apple iPhone 13 pro max is the best for gaming.
