SMS Question

By Terry Slavens ·
When we changed from SMS 1.2 to SMS 2.0 we decided to do a new install on new hardware. We took down our old SMS 1.2 server, NAB, and installed the new SMS 2.0 server, BAL.
Since then our PDC \smslogon\ keeps filling up with records and notpassing them off. The old way to get the records moving is to:
edit \smslogon\sitescfg\mastercfg.mcf and the discovery.lst files
removing reference to NAB and
deleting \smslogon\sites\nab folder
We have also removed any reference to the above items on all of our other logon points.
Where is this coming from???

Problem Solved

by Terry Slavens In reply to SMS Question

We noticed that the Sitelist.lst file had reference to NAB. We stopped the Windows Networking Logon Discovery process and then restarted it. Seems to have solved the problem. Now the Sitelist.lst refers to BAL.
