Software CD-RW as a backup device

I am looking for any ideas for some software that I can use that would enable me to back-up stand alsone PCs using my CD-RW. Hopefully something small, as I do not want to spend too much time installing/uninstalling. Something that would create anemergency bootable CD also would be ideal but not essential.

  I usuauly just use the Microsoft backup incuded with Windows then just write the file to my CD. It allows you to save your registry files as well.
