Software License Tracker in Access 97

I recently downloaded the Software License Tracker from TechRepublic’s Download page. I looked at it at home, where I have Office XP installed, but when I took it to where I work, we have Office 97, and the database would not open. On TechRepublic’s download page, it says that the database is fully compatable with Access 97 & 2000. Has anyone else had trouble opening the file in Access 97. Any solutions, other than upgrading?
