Hello,
I would like to know how to start a career in Software Testing.I have done Post Graduation(MCA) from
Rajasthan University jaipur.I am working in a software company as a web developer(PHP) since last 2 years.I have great interest in Software Testing and therefore i am planning to join a Software testing firm.
Following are the queries regarding this:
1) Will it be the right time to change my field from PHP developer to Software testing. Are there any expectations of career growth in that job.
2)How should I proceed in applying for the testing positions since most of the companies desire atleast 2 years of experience in testing whereas i have gained experience in web technology. So i am unable to understand how to start.
3)I am confused which software testing will be best suitable for me ( Manual,QTC, Mobile, Database and others )
4) Can i get any help regarding the list of companies that recruit freshers in software testing.
Please suggest me some ideas as I am really interested in going for S/W testing job. I hope you will give me
all possible suggestions for this job i require. I am waiting for your positive response as soon as possible.
