I have 2 computers on a wired home network with a router. One is Windows XP and one is Vista. I just had a situation whee some shared folders on the Vista computer appear empty when viewed by the XP computer even though there are files in those folders.
I was able to resolve the “empty” folder issue by going to the Vista machine and moving the folders to another location and then moving them back to their original location.
Can anyone explain why this might happen? Very concerned about why this would happen.
