Hi I'm a tech support student. I need to find a print out of an explanation of what a service pack is and why people need it and were I can find a microsoft Service Pack.

Service Packs

A service pack is an update for a software product that applies the latest features and/or bug fixes. Service packs can usually be found from a site's download page. For example, Microsoft's service pack 2 for IE can be found at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/recommended/ie55sp2/default.asp

Service Pack is a software patch that is applied to an installed application. It is either downloaded from the vendor's Web site or distributed via CD-ROM. When executed, it modifies the application in place.
