SOTFWARE DRIVER

By dominic_titan ·
MY COMPUTER IS hp Pavilion g3160d.
IT IS BUILT IN FOR WINDOWS VISTA.
SO IS IT POSIBLE FOR ME TO CHANGE IT TO WINDOWS XP?
I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM LEVEL THAT I COULD UPGRADE THE RAM AND THE HARD DISK.
I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO KNOW DO I HAVE ENOUGH SPACE TO ADD IN A 3D GRAPHIC CAD?
I ALSO WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WETHER CAN I ADD IN AN OTHER PROCESSOR ?

Sounds like questions to ask HP

These are all vendor-specific questions.
Any system capable of running Vista should be able to run XP.

...shows that it comes with 512M but its upgradable to 2G. It takes 2 1G modules to do that PC2-5300 MB/sec 240 pin.

...also shows that it comes with an 80G SATA drive. Should work with any SATA drive.

... also shows that it comes with PCI and ExpressPCI card slots. You can add a 3D Graphics card, but it must be PCI or PCI Xpress.

As far as another processor, that would most likely void any warranty, but you should be able to change the 1.6ghz processor for most any Socket 775 Intel processor.
