I am doing a mail merge. The source file is excel. When I go to select the source file from mail merge in word, the excel source file (or ANY) excel files are not listed. I have tried moving the file from my documents to the desktop, to no avail. Both word and excel are 2000. When I close out of mail merge and word, then the source file, and all other excel files, show up as usual. Why, when word and mail merge is open, can the excel files not be “seen”???? Thanks, Phil
