Spam filter

By al_james ·
I'm having a terribly-wasteful amount of E-mail spam. My ISP refuses to address this serious issue; and I'm "locked-in" with them for a year!

I need a strong spam filter for Microsoft Word.

Thank you,

If you drop your email address everywhere you go ...

It's not really any wonder that you're getting besieged by spam !!

Doesn't your online email account have a button that you can use to indicate spam?

I take it you ARE aware that you don't NEED to use the email account that came with your ISP account, aren't you? All your ISP gives you is a gateway out onto the Web - you can set up an email account wherever you want.

This being the case, why not create a separate online email account, forward all your incoming email from your existing email account, then use the spam filtering of the new email account to separate the Spam from the Sausage, Eggs, Chips & Beans.

You can even set up a 'Reply from' to mimic your existing email account if you wish - although, given the difficulty you are currently experiencing, the sooner you stop using the ISP email address the better.

*And I've never given any thought whatsoever to protecting M$ Word from spam.
