“Specified Print Monitor is Unknown” -??

Hi

I’m trying to update a print driver on a networked queue on a Win2k box.

It’ll take most drivers (been experimenting), but the driver I’m trying to put on is “Color Laserjet 4550”, PS version.

Everytime I point windows to the location where the files are, the progress bar comes up, goes all the way to the end, then comes up with “The printer driver could not be installed. The specified print monitor is unknown”

I’ve looked everywhere I can for information on this, but to no avail- is anyone here familiar with this error, and/or know any ways round it?
