I just started working for this new company. Any ways there Win 2000 Server crashed (Motherboard) that ran SQL 7 Server. Needless to say “they” never performed any backups. I was however able to install the server drives in my workstation, and recover all of the data (I just can’t boot them, gives me a stop error). So now I have installed a clean server on a new machine. Is there anyway to revover the Databases from SQL 7? I tried to just copy it over, but as I thought it didn’t work. Any suggestions……
If I put the old server HD in a new machine is there a way to recover without getting a stop error?
On a side note, I am now authorized to implement a backup solution!!
