My question is we have SQL mail set up on our SQL 6.5 server and we are running Outlook 2000 to forward our e-mail alerts to us . If we leave Outlook 2000 up and running we receive our alerts right away. If we shut down Outlook 2000 we don’t receive our alerts until we start Outlook 2000 again. My question is: Is there anyway for us to receive our alerts with Outlook 2000 being turned off? I’m thinking no. Anyone else?
