SR-1 for OFFICE 2000

Installed the Service Pack 2 for Office 2000 and now when the user opens any office application (i.e. WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS etc.) the service pack setup runs. What can I do to correct this? It is so annoying to the extent taht it does not allow the user to open email attachments when using OUTLOOK. Please help ASAP.
