Stackable switches

By jsarinana ·
I have 2 3Com SuperStack II 3300 Switches which gives me a total of 48 ports. I have only a couple of ports left open on them. I would like to add more ports to my network. My switches have worked well and I am happy with them. Question how many switches can I stack? What switch should I stack onto my existing switches I really only need a 12 port switch max. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

My manual (which I printed from the CD included with the switch) says on page 1-2 you can stack up to four of the 3300s using the matrix modules and SCSI caables.

Thanks, I guess it pays to find the manual and read it

Thanks Greybeard770, I understand now that I can stack up to 4 units and how. Any suggestions on the proper unit if all I want is a stable 12 port 10/100 switch ?
