Stagnant mailboxes?

As with many other companies we are faced with the challenge of deleting mailboxes from departed employees. Is there a way to run an automated process in a Windwos 2000 / Exchange 2000 environment in which the system checks when was the last time auser or selected group of accounts was logged into and if last signon is greater than 60 days delete the account and the associated mailbox(es)?
