Start up programs in W2K

How can I manage, delete unwanted programs during Start up in W2K?

login as administrator, use start->set-up->taksbar&menu->advanced and remove programs and services from the start-up groups for admin, users, and all as required then reboot as normal user.

If you right click on the start button and select explore from the context menu that appears.
When the explorer window opens navigate to c:\documents and settings then select the folder that is called the same as the username you are logged on as (or if you are trying to rid programs that start when another user logs on select that username folder instead), then expand startmenu\programs\startup, you will see a list of shortcuts to programs or program files themselves, if you delete these next time you logon as that particular user, the programs you have removed should not activate on startup.
