I’m trying to figure out how to open the command prompt without
actually getting to the login screen on XP.
I’m asking for a friend. He can’t start in safe mode, either. When he
tries to log into his computer, he gets an error that Windows is
attempting to run to .DLL files that aren’t even real Microsoft .DLL
files. So, I need to go in through the CP and replace all the login crap.
Any suggestions on doing this?
By the way – he can log into XP from a GUEST account – but he can’t
access files because it’s a guest account. Do you think whenever he
tries to get into an administrator file, that he could enter his password
and have it work?
