Starting Terminal Services Client Automa

By greg.gotcher ·
How do I start Terminal Services Client automatically when the computer starts up and then again every time someone logs off. Basically I don't want anyone to use the underlying computer. I only want them to see the logon from the Terminal Services Client and use only the Windows 2000 Terminal Server. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Starting Terminal Services Client Automa

I've deployed Win 2000 Terminal Services at my site also. What I've done is put a shortcut to our Term Server connection in the startup folder of the PC so it automatically connects when the PC is booted. Then I also placed one on the desktop of the PC in case someone closed the connection.

To safeguard the PC from being used on the network I have uninstalled all applications except for Win 2000 Terminal Services. I have also disabled use of the command prompt, floppy drive, etc. Othermeasures have been taken on the network so the PC's that connect to the terminal server can only connect to server in the internal LAN and only has authentication rights to the terminal server.
