Startup screen message

i increase my computer ram i receiving the following message at startup screen.
0061 cpu clock mismatch
0072 cmos checksum error
0006 equipment configutation error
i have acer (aspire 6644) pantium two 800MHz
bios 4.0 ver.
please help me i don’t know how to solve the problem.

Go into BIOS and look to see if it is picking up the RAM correctly

Then save the changes and exit. Upon the restart the problem should be gone.

This is happening because you have added more RAM and there is a Mismatch between what the system thinks it should have and what it actually has.

OH BTW you have a P 111 Not a P 11 as the fastest P2 came in at 450 MHZ anything above that speed is a P111.

I think it’s more likely that you have added RAM which runs at a different clock speed to what was already there, you cannot do that, if you added extra RAM I suggest you remove the original RAM and try to start your machine with just the new ram installed, if you still get the same message or similar it means you have installed RAM which of a speed which is not supported by your motherboard.
