stiching software

By wakim ·
Hello there. Could there anyone help me to solve this problem? I would like to copy an article from the newspaper, but I have to scan two times to get the article in full. Our daily newspaper size is 295x390 approx. (mm). How to stitch back the require article in one full page so I could print it when required, A4 size. Is there any software, which can do it? Please help me. Thanks.

Just a thought, but rather than attempting to use the graphical side of the scanner software, can you use ocr(optical character recognition) software instead? This would allow you to simply cut and paste the two documents together.

I've done fairly well doing this manually in a decent image editing program.

My digital camera came with a program called Quick Stitch. The web site for the software does not exist.

You might look for panorama software, as that is sort of what you are doing.
