Hi there , New guy here , I have a problem, please any one ?? I had a pc brought in by a friend its the kid’s pc, Good little entry level with windows
xp started edit ( Africa version or sumtin ).
As soon as you log in it says “reboot unsupported state 2”
1) Safe mode exactly the same.
2) Shutdown -a does not work
3)Trusted ole Ultimate windows boot cd does not work.
4)Asked them to bring cd’sto do recovery installation, Cd looked like Kids and spot been playin frisbee with it , cd she not good
4) Googled it and low and behold there was me and 6 million other guys with the same proplem, “You need a hotfix kb whatever from microsoft”
Decided ill do it one better and install service pack 3
Now oh wise people of the internet , How do i stop the pc from rebooting long enough to install the service pack???? pleas help
