Storing Photos

By sue.ritter ·
I work for a small insurance company and I was wondering if anyone knew of a simple and easy to use program for storing photos. It would be for our claims photos and the adjusters would need the ability to search through the photos, add photos, and attach comments to the photos. No bells and whistles just something extremely simple.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There;s lot's of good apps out there to do this with varying features. It really depends on a number of factors like how many photos you want to store, how you want to store them (a single directory or by albums), how you want to name them, if you want to be able to email them etc. Check this website for tips and some product reviews:

Adobe Photoshop Album starter edition.

The above is avaible for free when you download Acrobat Reader.

You can import images from files or Scanner or Camera/Card reader.

It lets you add comments to the images. It lets you add tags to the images.

Search by dates, tags ect.

By upgrading to Photoshop Album you get the ability to place the images into albums.

I use the following for renaming my images. It is free from Polybytes. Sequentialize

http://www.polybytes.com/download.htm

It allows you to rename a whole folder of images with a varity of options.

Good Luck Lee
