Strange Word Printing Problem…

Hi, I have just started a new job as a sole IT Manger (and the only It man). A strange problem on my new bosses machine happened on Friday. He said oh Stuart used to do somthing that made it go away for a while you should be able to do it easy. Hu well not.

Ok hear it goes.

When you open a Word SR1 saved document from double clicking on it then go file print the print property page doesnt come up instead the document nane on the task bar flashes and so does the document name at the top of the document then you right mouse click on the doc name on the task bar and it pops up (as if it was in the back ground). Then it is fine on the doc till it is closed and opned again. Now here is the strange part if I open word up first then open the file then it is fine.

Can any one help.
