Streaming audio dropping out of iOS and Android mobile app after 7-10 min.

I built a mobile app for my 5 radio stations. Each station has a live streaming feed app downloaders can click on to hear the station through their app. Problem is that each feed (built into the app via simple html audio player and a feed: http://192.211.51.158:5515/; stops playing over the app after 7-9 minutes. Does anyone have an idea what may cause this to happen?

What are the power settings on the device?

Sounds as if something is shutting down the feeds to save power at a guess.

We simply included a HTML player in the code of the app with no particular power settings. The audio stopping problem is happening on some of the other app testers we have allowed to download it.

if the device shuts down power to a service to save power particuarly on Mobile devices that could be the issue here.

Something I ran across a few years ago where the device was taking control of the software and stopping things that where intended to be running it was not visable on desktops but on mobile devices it was a nightmare to solve.

If that isn’t the issue here I’m sorry I don’t have any idea of what is happening.
