Stuck While Editing WordPress Theme? Let’s Troubleshoot Together!
Hey everyone,
I’m currently facing a frustrating issue while trying to make changes to my WordPress theme. I’ve been trying to modify some elements—like fonts, colors, and layout—through both the WordPress Customizer and directly via the theme’s CSS, but the changes either don’t appear at all or revert after refreshing.
Here are a few details about what I’ve done so far:
Cleared browser cache and even tried in incognito mode.
Deactivated caching plugins (like W3 Total Cache).
Tried switching to a default theme (like Twenty Twenty-One), and the changes do work there.
Ensured I’m using a child theme when editing CSS directly.
File permissions seem to be correct.
No major console errors in developer tools.
Still, when I return to my original theme, the issue comes back.
Has anyone experienced this before? Could it be a problem with the theme itself or maybe something deeper like server-side caching or permissions?
Would love to hear your thoughts or suggestions.
Thanks in advance!
