Students PCs pinging with TTL set to 1

By mlovett ·
We have noticed a number of our students on our network are all pinging the same address, 207.26.131.137. The sniffer shows the TTL is set to 1, which is strange. Initially, we thought they might be trying to target our router. I discovered the PCs all have a multimedia keyboard, and the file mmkeybd.exe, has reference to the 207.26.131.137. Why would this file need to ping any address with a TTL of 1? Any ideas? Anyone ever seen this on their network?
