I failed my Sun Solaris 7 Test Two by one question. Here are some of the questions asked during the test. Some of them are generalized as close to the question as I can remember. My Test is Friday, July 20th. Help
1. A question about /etc/hosts was asked. It displayed 4 entries in a host file. The first displayed the loopback address. The others displayed IP addresses and host names. The answers where, (Choose One)
a. Is the loopback address the name of the local host
b. Is the name of thesecond entry the name of the local host
c. One said something about the share the same name (I had no idea what it meant)
d. The other mentioned that the last three entries where of different subnets
Question: Which entry would have been the local host entry?
Question: How can you tell if the IP?s where of different subnets?
2. Will the last command log the last person logged in? And does the last command display a switch to su?
