Sync 2 Palms: one-desktop, one-Outlook?

By Cymbidian ·
My supervisor syncs his Palm 505 to his Desktop; I sync his Palm to my Desktop. I want to also sync MY Palm Vx with MY Outlook. Our company uses Win2000, Outlook/Exchange. How can we set this up w/o corrupting his data? I'll print your answers for our IT guys, since I don't have Admin rights.

I am not the expert at this but my experts have indicated to me that this works as long as both palm's are the same model but not otherwise.

Simple,
1. You use Outlook, he uses Palm desktop - some configuration may need to be change.
2. With in Palm Desktop you can have different users, see if you can asign differenat palms with each user.
Are the cradles USB, serial, different connections may also help.

On your Palm Vx CD, there is a software, which allow you to sync your Palm with Outlook. It is called Pocket Mirror. Install the software. Then make sure you have change the Mail sync setting to sync in the Hotsync. Because the Mail default setting is Do nothing.
