sync Visor and Kyocera on 1 PC?

by jeannegharris . Updated 23 years ago

My husband has a Handspring Visor Deluxe. I have a Kyocera phone/PDA. Each product has a customized version of PalmOS and its own cradle. If I install the Kyocera supplied Palm on our Win 98 home computer, his Visor will not synch. If I install the Visor download of PalmOS, his PDA works, but my desktop software, while it launches, looks different and wont recognize my data (just his), even though I put the 2 versions of PalmOS in different directories. To make matters worse, my husband’s work computer running NT wont synch at all anymore with his Visor. Is there some way to:
1. Have two totally separate versions of PalmOS on one machine, so we can each synch at home.
2. Get his Visor to synch on both the Win 98 and Win NT machines?
Handspring is totally stumped by our problem; and I can’t find anyone at Kyocera to help either. Any advice is much appreciated!
