synchronizing outlook

By a.vonbrandenstein ·

I have 5 computers in a LAN. My question relates to Microsoft Outlook 2003. Does anyone out there know how to synchronise Outllok across the network computers? My problem seems to be that the network is never offline so i don't want/need to create an offline folder. Is there any other way to synchronise email messages, appointments and tasks? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In Outlook 2003 there is a new feature called "Exchange Cache" mode.

This mode is what you should be using when connecting to an Exchange server.

It automatically does offline files on the local hard drive for synchronising. So even if the network is down, outlook will still function as normal. When the network comes back on, all the new changes are automatically sync'ed back to the exchange server.
