Syncing versus Automatic Uploading of OneDrive

Having Syncing of OneDrive in Samsung Android and Photo Gallery in Samsung Android would obviously delete a picture from both places if it were deleted in either one of the two places.

I am almost certain that having Automatic Uploading facility for a picture in Samsung Android Photo Gallery into OneDrive app in Samsung Android would not delete a picture from both places if it were deleted in one of the two places.

Please confirm the above and then provide instructions for Automatic Uploading of a picture in Samsung Android Photo Gallery into OneDrive app in Samsung Android. (I could not find anywhere clear instructions in that regard.)

I had tried that Microsoft instruction before posting my query, and I tried it again after reading your reply. it did not work in both tries. Thus, it says:

To automatically upload your camera roll to OneDrive:

1. In the OneDrive app, tap the Me icon at the bottom of the app.

2. Tap Settings, then Camera upload.

When, as stated in Item 2, I tapped on Settings, I found no “Camera Upload” (or anything similar) in the menu so that I had a total roadblock in both tries.
