If you're asking for assistance (as opposed to just permission!) we will need some more detail. Presumably you are looking for a recommendation of which software to use?
As a start can you tell us: * What OS the clients are running? * How many clients there are? * How much data needs backing up? * Do you just want files, or do you want to be able to restore the whole OS? * What OS does the server run? How much space do you have for the backups? * How often will the backups run? * What speed is the network? * What's your budget?
Depending on your answers to the above, some thoughts are: * Don't do client backups. Use Folder Redirection (and Offline Files if needed) to get all important data on the server. * Use xcopy from a Scheduled Task. * Script Windows Backup (Win7 only) using wbadmin to save to a network share. * Use commercial software. Many provide licenses for lots of desktops when you purchase the server edition. I'm pretty sure Backup Exec does, and think ShadowProtect does too.
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
