I run Win98se standalone Intel Pentium II 350Mhz PC. The system developed symptoms which resulted in corrupt directories. On attempt to re-instal, the volume label appears as “Le” which I am not able to delete or rename. Bootdisk dioagnostics load okay, but the directory of C:\ appears as “fsnw created on 03-02-03; other directories are “ne”, Win9″ and yet there are no files!!
Some help with this problem.
