I have a Gateway Pent-III Notebook ( mod -Solo 9550 ) Upon powering up I’m given an “Invalid Configuration – Run Setup utility” mesage. I can get by this message by Following the press F1 to resume or F2 to enter configuration Utility. ( and everything is fine. The battety registers Full Charging, however when the AC adapter is removed I loose power and I can’t run on Battery Power. Should I replace the battery? Gateway hasn’t been able to help me.
