is there a utility for changing the data on the "GENERAL" tab of the "Systems Properties" menu??? I have seen one before, but it is limited as to what it can do....?

Do you not want to do it in regedit? Usually when a box is transfered between users this is where the sysadmin changes the names etc/.
What OS are we talking about. There are some utilities on the resource disks for the individual oses like nt4.0 w2k win98 nt4.0 server/etc. let us know...............

some of the info offered was helpful, but not terminal... i am still looking for a better answer. i build and repair computers locally, and having an OEM id in the systems properties is an essential next step...... thanks revme.
