We are a small company opening a second office. Our first office (office A) runs on Small Business Server 4.5. We are going to connect to our second office (office B) via a dedicated T1. I would like to use Small Business Server there also (2000 preferably). Office B will be connected to our client via a dedicated T1 also. Office A will be the internet connection for both A and B. Office A also hosts our website and Domain name.
Here is the set up that I am looking at (I believe). A server at Office B with 3 network cards. One to the client (with a firewall), One for internal networking, and one to office A. The nic to office A will be set up as the gateway for all office B computers. Question…can anyone see a fault in this thinking? Should I set these sites up as 2 domains with trust or 1 domain with two exchange sites? I am looking for ease of administration as I will be the only admin for both buildings. Thanks in advance
