Task Pad in Outlook 2000

By Red Dragoon ·
At our company, we are using Exchange and everyone's mailboxes are stored on the mail server. My client is using Outlook 2000. When she is in her own Calendar, she has a Task Pad feature. We also have Public Folders, and her department has its own shared Calendar. When she goes into the Department Calendar, there is no Task Pad. She wants to know if this feature can be added. Thanks.

Sure, just create a new public folder from an Outlook client - specify TASK as the type of items to store in the folder.

Set up permissions for the calendar on that same machine.

All this does is give a Task Pad. What they need is a calendar with a task pad inserted in the view.

Mike, This is not in answer to your question but I am desperate to find an answer to an old question you posted. You ask about #DELETE in records: Access 2000 database. Did you ever get an answer. My circumstance is the same as the one you described but we are Windows 2000. If you can send me an email at marcy@marsch.net

Thanks,
Erwin

I don't remember. It has something to do with ODBC settings.
