Taskbar and Office Shortcut Bar conflict

By steven.green ·
I have a user who gets various errors because he has his office shortcut bar over his taskbar (which is on Auto-hide). He constantly gets issues with which button he has hit etc.. He is quite adamant that he does not want to move his shortcut bar to the top or sides. Any ideas about settings that may stop this???

If he doesn't want his shortcut bar moved, you can always move the taskbar. I'm not sure if that was an option. Another option is to enlarge the size of the taskbar by dragging it up. Hope these help.

Thanks, I was just checking if there was anything I had not thought of.

You can only do so much. There's nothing wrong with the first answer, but I'd guess a user that won't let you move the OSB isn't going to be too ready to let you move the taskbar. If the user insists on a set-up that causes problems, there's nothing you can do.

If the Office bar is not on autohide you can set the task bar to always on top, also the large icons switch for the Office bar helps see which icon is being pressed.
