TCP/IP properties page Inaccurate

System: Dell Server Win2000 SP3, Exchange 2000 SP3 Gigabit Ethernet and 10/100 connection.

In Network and Dial up connections when I bring up the TCP/IP properties for the Gigabit card it tells me it’s set to obtain IP and DNS information automatically even though the IP and DNS is hardcoded. I know this is true because IPCONFIG/ ALL tells me DHCP Enabled…NO and the IP address is what I set it to is correct. When I go to re-hardcode it or change it the information it is accepted but when you go back in to verify it still says it is set to DHCP.

Then on the 10/100 card (which is disabled) When you try to bring up the properties page for it… it crashes the properties page and the explorer shell which then has to refresh the background including all the desktop icons.
Any Ideas????
