Technical part of Media

By Kjay ·
Hi,

I am very much interested in working for media companies. say CNN, FOX and others. I have my bachelors degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. I am currently doing my Masters specializing in Computer Networking. I would like to be in the technical part of media. A job which only an engineer can do say broadcasting, streaming and all which goes on with it. I would like to know what are all the possible areas in which i can work? kindly help me out.

Just like actors and news staff, you need to start at the bottom, and work your way up.

Start with the radio or TV station at your school.

Move to a small market station.
Then as your skills improve, you can move to larger market stations and then to the networks themselves.

I have a couple of relatives who have worked in the TV industry and that is pretty much what you need to do.
