In XP, the windows updates would create a bunch of $ folders in case you needed to uninstall them, I believe it was in the Windows sub-folder. I would go through them every so often and remove them to free up disk space.
Where have they moved these folders in Vista? I bought a new laptop with Home Edition installed and I can’t seem to find them.
