Text direction problem in Microsoft Word

By marsplanet7777 ·
Hi,
I have installed a Persian version of Microsoft Office-2003 on my laptop. When I open a new MS-Word or Outlook page, the cursor goes to the right corner of the page as a default format and every time I need to change the page format for Left-to-Right editing. Please let me know how I can make the Left-to-Right format as default paragraph format for my bi-lingual MS-Office programs.
Thank you.
Bruce

Word - Right Text Default

by daniellatuscany2000 In reply to Text direction problem in ...

I noticed your posting is similar to my issue. How may I resolve and/or whom may I contact to do so? Thank you!

When I open a new MS-Word or MS office product, the document opens with the cursor to the extreme right corner of the page. It appears as if it is now the default format.

Every time I need to change the page format for Left-to-Right editing. Yet, even after doing so, the cursor still appears to memorize the right to left default setting and causes me to delete and type text in the opposite direction or center of the pre-existing sentence/text, etc.

Please inform as to how I may return my MS products format default back to the Left-to-Right format as the default paragraph format for my MS-Office programs.

Thank you,

Daniella

Possible Solution

by nvsvictor In reply to Word - Right Text Default

hey.

Let me know if you got the issue resolved.

I got the same problem, with many annoying other glitches.

My solution was to save the stupid Word 2003 document as 2007 document and then the problem was cleared.

Let me know if anyone found this helpful at
