I have a new, Amazon Fire HD 10 tablet and an older Brother HL2140 printer. No one I can find offers a printer driver that will allow me to print directly from my tablet to my printer by means of a USB connection. My printer has no WiFi capability. It connects to data sources only by means of a USB cable. I can cable patch the printer to the tablet, but I need a driver to transmit the data from the tablet to the printer. How can I obtain one?
(I have complained both to Brother and to Amazon about their neglect to provide a driver for my cable connected printer-tablet, but I doubt either of them will be responsible enough to develop a driver for this purpose.
