I want to ask your opinion or preference.
We have a 100 sales rep using SFA application (in thier PDA devices). This application was maintained and run by 3rd party provider. From handling data and tech support. This SFA apps specifically for one segment of our customer. Now they want an information that some how related to their activity.
Meaning they make calls to them (using the SFA apps) and they also want to know how much is there sales!
Now heres the difficulties, that sales info was tabulated and available only in our LAN, but they need this info on the field while doing their customer calls.
I have 4 options to implement this.
1. Thru emails, meaning push info
2. Access Info via secure (web portal)
3. Access info via VPN
4. Add application in their device (PDA) that wlll download their sales.
the first 3 option would fit to PC and laptop users but our sales rep have PDA only.
