Thumbnails in Windows ME

By Zalog ·
When I use the view thumbnail option while viewing my files in Windows ME explorer only my .bmp files are thumbnails. My .jpg and .gif files show the associated application icon (Paint Shop Pro). I've tried rebuilding the icons from the file menu. How do I get Windows ME to show thumbnails for all image files?

Remove their association with Paint Shop Pro and reassociate them with the native Windows program that is associated with the .bmp extension. Under File Types and Associations...

Okay - how about under the view tab under Folder Options - make sure that the box for Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items is checked - hope that helps.

oops - also forgot to say make sure that view as web page is selected - since you can see thumbnails of bmps, I'm almost sure it's already checked, but double check anyway...
