Hi,

i do not know how to remove the Service using standard NT tools, but a App called Dameware NT Utilities has a feature in it to delete a service from a machine. You can download a Eval Copy at :
www.dameware.com.

Hope this helps

To delete a service in NTWKS-4.0

There is a tool in the Resource Kit called DELSRV.EXE that will "This command-line tool unregisters a service by using Services Control Manager." You can get it free from Microsoft at:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/techinfo/reskit/tools/existing/delsrv-o.asp
(please remove any spaces)

There is also another tool called INSTSRV.EXE that will delete a service. This tool is NOT a freebie.

Hope this helps.
