To Load or Not To Load, That Is The Question – WIN XP SP3

I’m currently running WIN XP SP2 with no problems. On my previous machine I installed the Beta of WIN XP SP3 with disastrous results. Should I keep my new machine @ SP2 and not install SP3 or has it matured enough to load successfully w/o problems??
