    Today Microsoft Certificate in Africa!!!

    Well,
For the past two months I’ve been willing to take a Microsoft examination , and what I’ve learnt there is that you can get it without even studying any of the topics involved. You just give some bribe to the invigilator and he will help you with the questions. That’s the way Africa is.

It is wrong for Skysurfer to imply that bribery is universal throughout Africa.

Unfortunately, all it takes is one well publicized instance of bribery to cast doubts on a larger group of people. This is especially true when dealing with other countries and continents.

I’ve done twice the MCSE exams here in South-Africa, the first time I failed and the second time I worked hard on it and I passed , how could this be true?

          Rumors and tests

          by generalist ·

          In reply to That’s untrue…

When you get down to it, all you need is ONE documented example of unprosecuted corruption in MCSE test taking anywhere on the continent to make it possible for the rumor mill to expand the ‘taint’ to the entire continent.

It is, unfortunately, human nature to generalize things, especially when dealing with things that affect them one way or another.

To counter such things, you need to identify the source of the rumors and do what is needed to either prove that the rumors are false or to show what is being done to prevent the event from happening.

What do you know of Africa ?
You guys must stop sterotyping us ( the african )

There are a lot of well educated african ( I talk about people who were born and raised in the continent, got their degrees in Africa ) working in IT department and university in the western world.
      I am one of them.
We got our certifications and degree by working hard not by cheating. That’s why western company sponsort us to come and work for them because the know we’re serious and do our job.
